Fantasy Scoring Explained
Fantasy Scoring Explained
Each sport on iDraft has its own fantasy scoring model that converts game statistics into fantasy points. This page explains how points are calculated for basketball, hockey, baseball, and football contests.
These scoring rules apply to iDraft contests unless otherwise noted in the contest details. They are provided for informational and entertainment purposes only.
Understanding the scoring model helps you see how different stats translate into fantasy points when you build a lineup. Players who contribute in multiple areas can accumulate points in different ways depending on the rules for each sport. Learn more about lineup structure »

Football Scoring (NFL & NCAAF)
These are the core rules and how players earn points.
iDraft football contests combine NFL and NCAAF games under the same scoring system, rewarding performance, efficiency, and impact plays on both offense and defense. Turnovers and errors apply deductions, while milestone yardage and shutouts provide bonuses. Note: Certain statistics such as two-point conversions, kick distances, and blocked kicks may not be consistently tracked in NCAAF feeds.
